Lap Infant: Costs and Rules

Children under 2 can sit on a parent’s lap with a loop belt attached to the adult’s seatbelt.

Domestic / Europe: approx. 10% of adult fare
Intercontinental: approx. 10% of adult fare + taxes/fees
Own seat: Book a child fare (approx. 75% of adult price) for a seat with an infant car seat

Baby Carry-On Allowance

As a lap infant, you can bring in addition to your own carry-on:

1 carry-on bag for the baby (max. 8 kg)
Baby food and medication are exempt from the liquid rule

Stroller and Buggy

Gate-check available: Yes, you can take the stroller to the gate
Return: At the gate (jet bridge) or baggage claim — depends on the airport
